Lakota Sioux Beaded & Fringed Hide Tobacco Bag c. 1890.  This lengthy bag

is sinew sewn with classic Sioux geometric designs, with crosses set in bands 

each side of throat and roll beaded mouth.  Dyed quilled slats with supple fringe.

Tin cones with dyed horsehair suspended above beaded panel.
